The first step is to make an appointment for a complete dental exam with dental x-rays.  Dr. Ripplinger will evaluate the health of your mouth and check for any suspicious lesions or sores. He will then carefully look at the x-rays to check the health of your bone, checking for anything unusual and then noting the thickness of your bone.

The second step is to sit down with Dr. Ripplinger and let him explain to you all of your options. If your tissues are healthy and the bone is thick enough he may suggest dental implants which can be used to anchor a denture into place eliminating all those “troubles”.  Or you may be a candidate for a full mouth restoration using implants to attach crowns and bridges. The options are many and only a complete exam will give Dr. Ripplinger the information he needs to present those options to you.
